Any items purchased during a sale and/or with the use of a promotional code are a final sale and are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges, unless the item(s) received are defective. In exceptional circumstances exceptions may be made at the discretion of 209 Mare.

All of our 209 Swim Shorts come in custom made pouch that you can use to carry your phone, sunscreen, keys and anything else you may need at the beach. The pouch is sufficiently resistant to protect its contents if they briefly fall into the water thanks to its water resistant exterior lining and zipper. It is not designed to be submerged or in contact with water for extended periods of time.

Our 209 Swim Shorts are made out of high strength nylon that has been treated with a special finish to give it a smooth and soft touch feeling. The nylon is rapid dry, meaning that it will dry off quickly after you get out of the water

Absolutely, this is one of the primary uses. The rigid yet light materials will bear with you even if your evening gets a little bit out of control, plus, you will be the best dressed person at the party - that’s a guarantee.

In the unlikely case that a button has come off of your 209 Beach Blazer, or you have lost your belt, please email us at contact@209mare.com and tell us what you need and we will send it to you for free. Generally, we can provide buttons as well as other small accessories in timely manner, if we have them in stock. Belts on the other hand have to be produced by hand in our atelier in Italy. As a result, we will try to get you a replacement as quickly as possible but ask for 2-3 weeks to give us enough time to manufacture the belt for you.

We ship The New Standard in Luxury Beachwear worldwide (even to your private island) and we are proud to exclusively use FedEx to ship orders. Shipping rates vary depending on shipping region and shipping times selected.


We Provide Free Worldwide Standard shipping for any purchase of 165 or more.


We also provide Free Worldwide Express shipping for any purchase of €400 or more.


All orders placed by 1:30 pm Paris time will be fulfilled the same day. Approximate shipping times are as follows:

Delivery to North America: 3-5 working days

Orders to countries outside the EU may be subject to import taxes and/or duties, which are applied when your package reaches your country. Your order is shipped on a DDU (delivery duty unpaid) basis. We are unable to estimate the amount of duties and taxes your package will incur as these charges are imposed directly by your local customs. Payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs and are the responsibility of the customer to pay. For more information, please contact your local customs office.



We offer free exchanges on all orders within 30 days after placing order. To arrange a product exchange please contact our 209 Mare Concierge and they will issue you a return shipping label. Items will be shipped back to you using standard shipping.



If you would like to return an item, you can do so within 14 days of the item(s) having been ordered. To arrange a return please contact our 209 Mare Concierge.


Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. The 209 Mare Concierge can arrange return shipping label for customers for a flat fee of 25 (regardless of from where in the world the item(s) are being shipped), which will be deducted from the refunded amount of the original order. If a customer chooses to receive a 209 Mare credit instead of a refund for returned items, the flat fee for the 209 Mare Concierge to issue a worldwide return shipping label is €10. If a customer wishes to opt out of 209 Mare return shipping and ship the items themselves, they may return items the DailyPack Fulfillment center address at the bottom of the page.


Customers can choose to either receive a refund to the original payment method (minus any applicable return shipping fees for shipping labels issued by The 209 Mare Concierge) or can choose to receive a credit to be used with the 209 Mare shop.


Items are only valid for return if they are in their original unworn condition with all labels and tags attached and returned in original product packaging


Customers may opt out of the 209 Mare return shipping fee and receive a full refund if they choose to ship the items to the below address themselves:
